There will be a combination of examination formats throughout the diploma program.
Online Theoretical Examinations
All theory examinations will occur online through our online examination software. These will be virtually proctored through Microsoft Teams during specific test writing times. Students will sign up for the time they'd like to write and attend on that date.
Recorded Practical Submissions
Once the learning is complete, students will be instructed to submit a recording of their assessment and treatment for that module. These will be reviewed by the instructor.
Academic Accommodations
There are a number of examination formats that can be put in place should a student require academic accommodation for learning disabilities, neurodiversity or anxiety. Simply discuss with student services to find the format that will best suit your needs.
Clinical Requirement
Once you have completed a module of study, you will be required to attend the Manual Manipulative Therapy Clinic with clients that you are then treating for dysfunctions pertaining to that module of study.
During these clinics, you will be observed by the instructor where you can ask any questions pertaining to the dysfunction, assessment or treatment. If required, your techniques can be perfected under the observation and support of your instructor.
Yu will be required to apply the skills you have learned to a minimum of five clients and submit a case study on those clients. Once you have submitted that case study, you will be eligible to sit the exam and complete the module.
The dates of these clinics and booking capability will be made available on our website, wellingtoncollege.com/mmt.
